Hamilton Etfs Expands Champions Series With Two New Sector Etfs
Hamilton ETFs has launched two new exchange-traded funds—QMVP and UMVP—on the Toronto Stock Exchange as part of its HAMILTON CHAMPIONS™ series. The ETFs, which carry a 0.19% management fee and track custom Solactive indices, provide low-cost sector exposure for Canadian investors in U.S. technology and Canadian utilities, respectively.
QMVP targets 25 of the most profitable U.S. technology firms, including companies like Apple, Meta, and Alphabet, with index weights designed to reduce concentration risk. UMVP focuses on high-dividend Canadian utility, telecom, and pipeline stocks, offering equal-weighted exposure aimed at delivering defensive income and tax-efficient dividends.
