Goldman Sachs AM launches ETF on the LSE that tracks private equity returns

Goldman Sachs Asset Management has launched the Goldman Sachs MSCI World Private Equity Return Tracker UCITS ETF on the London Stock Exchange. The passively managed fund aims to closely replicate the performance of the MSCI World Private Equity Return Tracker Index, which seeks to simulate private equity returns using long and short positions in publicly traded equities from the MSCI World IMI Index. The ETF does not invest directly in private equity but offers exposure through a mix of physical securities and total return swaps, aiming to provide enhanced liquidity, transparency, and accessibility. It is available in both GBP and USD share classes, each with a 0.50% management fee.
