BlackRock’s iShares platform has listed three new UCITS ETFs on the London Stock Exchange, including the industry’s first dedicated quantum computing ETF—iShares Quantum Computing UCITS ETF (QANT)—as well as new share classes for its MSCI USA Swap ETF (MUSD) and Global High Yield Corporate Bond ETF. The launch reflects growing investor demand for innovative thematic products and low-cost core instruments.
The QANT fund, classified under SFDR Article 8, tracks a proprietary STOXX index targeting companies with strong quantum technology exposure, and has significantly outperformed traditional tech benchmarks over the past three years. While offering growth potential, the fund carries concentrated sector risks, and the synthetic MUSD ETF involves counterparty risk in addition to market exposure.
