XRP has been named one of the top three most-searched cashtags on X, formerly Twitter, joining Bitcoin and Ethereum, according to the platform’s head of product, Nikita Bier. Other popular cashtags include Tesla (TSLA), GameStop (GME), and Iris Energy (IREN). The growing use of X’s “Smart Cashtags” feature allows users to link ticker symbols directly to real-time asset data, smart contracts, and social sentiment, aiming to enhance market transparency and support informed decision-making. Despite XRP’s strong social presence, it has underperformed in the market, falling over 3% in the past week as Bitcoin rose about 5%, per CoinGecko data.
