Despite recent bearish trends, including Bitcoin falling below $90,000 and XRP entering a correction phase, Garlinghouse remains optimistic about long-term growth.

XRP began 2026 trading around $1.85–$1.90 and briefly surged to $2.40 in early January before retreating to its starting level. While Garlinghouse did not provide a specific XRP price target, Standard Chartered has forecast the token could reach $8 in 2026 and potentially climb to $12.50 by 2028.
