Davos: Binance'S Cz Reveals Three Next Big Targets For Crypto Space
At the World Economic Forum in Davos, former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) outlined three major developments expected to shape the future of the crypto industry: state-level asset tokenization, the widespread adoption of crypto payments, and the integration of cryptocurrency in AI systems. Zhao emphasized that stablecoins and crypto exchanges have already proven to be large-scale successes and believes that crypto-enabled AI agents will increasingly perform autonomous transactions using digital currencies instead of traditional banking methods.
CZ also predicted a significant decline in the use of physical banks over the next decade, as advancements in online banking, cryptocurrency, and electronic know-your-customer (e-KYC) tools accelerate the shift toward digital financial services. While he acknowledged that physical banks will not vanish entirely, he anticipates a sharp reduction in their necessity for everyday consumers.
