As Senior Security Engineer you?ll focus on understanding the threat landscape, architecting integrations with security tools, collaborating with vendors, security monitoring, threat remediation, and cloud infrastructure automation.Role Details As a Senior Security Engineer - Data Infrastructure (m/f/d) you will (be):Design and integrate secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring compliance with our security policies.
Architect and integrate security monitoring tools (SIEM) into cloud environmentsDeploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Snowflake using Infrastructure-as-Code to automate cloud resource provisioning and security configurationsManage and optimize GitHub Actions & Runners for seamless CI/CD pipeline automation.
Implement and maintain security best practices, ensuring security is embedded throughout the development lifecycle and compliance is upheldConfigure, manage, and optimize internal security solutions for efficient threat detection and response and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendorsDocument infrastructure processes, configurations, and operational workflows for improved knowledge sharing and process efficiencyWe are looking for Extensive (8 years or more) hands-on experience in cloud security, preferably GCP.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is a plusDeep experience in DevSecOps practices, infrastructure automation, IaC (e.g.
Terraform), security tool integrations, access control design and data protectionGood knowledge of SIEM tools and technologies, such as Google SecOps.
In-depth knowledge of cloud services and best practices for cloud securityExperience in securing critical enterprise data flows on premise and on GCP BigQuery and/or SnowflakeVery good programming skills in Python and/or JavaExperience with development utilizing software development life cycle (SDLC) tools including Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCityStrong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with vendors, cloud architects, security teams, and third-party service providers.
