Description Apply Now Open sharing options Save Saved Share This role will help develop, curate and disseminate engaging content across owned social channels. She/he will support both paid and organic social efforts, managing the day-to-day oversight of content and reporting, keeping abreast of social trends and changes to the various platforms. Support the strategic media channels team with Intermediary and Institutional paid media efforts across both online and offline channels. Opportunity to deepen both paid and social media knowledge and skill set.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the day-to-day publishing and distribution of marketing materials across key channels, including LinkedIn, YouTube and FAIQ ThinkTankCollaborate with creative team, producers and marketing managers to develop content and execute social media campaigns for our North American business; includes volunteer initiatives, industry awards and events, and PR effortsMonitor daily social activity; develop and support social listening across Columbia Threadneedle handles and competitor handlesMaintain social media spec and best practices guide, updating and sharing with the broader teams as needed Manage onboarding, support and best practices guides for social selling initiatives Assist with vendor relationships for social media platforms and related listening and publishing tools Assist in production of reports for paid and organic social efforts, enabling continuous optimization and innovation Support the team with ad hoc paid media campaigns and initiatives, including but not limited to trafficking and delivering assets to the media agency, paid search ad copy management, and providing the media agency with necessary data for reportingRequired QualificationsA bachelor?s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field1 ? 2 years of relevant experience in marketing, social media or communications is preferred (internship or co-op experience can count towards this)Familiarity with social media platforms and social management and publishing tools, and an understanding how to use them effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to quickly learn new trends and adapt to changes in the fast-paced social media landscape.Ability to analyze data to understand audience behavior and measure the success of campaigns. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
