Emles’ founder, Gabriel Hammond, started his career at one of the top investment banks in the industry. Despite his firm’s global reach, there were corners of the market that they felt were just too hard or too challenging to access.

Instead of ceding to those challenges, they inspired Gabriel to go out on his own and tackle them one by one. Over the next 20 years of his career, Gabriel founded firms like SteelPath and Alerian, to solve access and liquidity obstacles, specifically in the MLP space. In 2018, Gabriel saw the opportunity to address those same challenges across all asset classes – It is with that DNA that Emles was formed.
