Amundi ETF
Overview
Amundi, a subsidiary of the French bank Crédit Agricole, is one of the largest ETF providers in Europe.
Its first ETF was launched back in 2001 using the brand name CASAM. After expanding its sales coverage to other European countries, the name was changed to Amundi ETF in 2010. In July 2017 Amundi acquired Pioneer Investments, a subsidiary of Italian UniCredit. This was followed by the acquisition of Lyxor ETF by Amundi in 2021. In the course of 2022, the Lyxor ETF brand is set to disappear and the provider will be fully integrated into Amundi ETF. This makes Amundi the largest European ETF provider.
Amundi offers almost exclusively equity and fixed income ETFs on all major indices with a special focus on a broad coverage of MSCI indices.
